This weekend, we’ll begin emailing links to the videos from the Winter 2024 Perl Community Conference. Between that and the most recent Summer 2025 Perl Community Conference, we have nearly 30 videos to share.
These will be released first to this email list, followed by our other channels, including the Perl Programmers Facebook Group.
A few days later, they will also be shared on the r/perlcommunity subreddit.
What can you do to help? Please share this email and encourage your fellow Perl enthusiasts to join our low-volume announcement list so they can be among the first to access the videos.
To join, visit perlcommunity.org/science/#mailing_list or use this direct signup link.
For full details, see our Reddit post here. Along with the video releases, we’ll soon announce the Call for Participation for the December 2025 Perl Community Conference and provide an update on Issue #2 of the Science Perl Journal, coming before December.
Finally, lots of good stuff has been happening behind the scenes. Amoung the news above, we're also issuing official DOI numbers (and permalinks) for our Science Perl Journal and the papers contained therein. Read more here.
Happy Perl'ing,
